Helping Young People Find Their Purpose

Newsletter | Secondary Update

I enjoy hearing about the many ways our college has grown over the past 40 years. Each year has been an opportunity to capture wonderful memories that will stay with us for a very long time.  It’s encouraging to listen to the stories of students, staff, and families who have contributed to and been supported by the MCC community. In Secondary, we have celebrated the growth, learning, and success of numerous students who have completed their schooling at MCC and pursued their desired pathways.

Just recently, I spoke to a student who completed Year 12 only last year. She was thrilled to have been accepted into her university course while also working in a related field. She was thankful to the school; I was encouraged by her years of hard work.

Over the past 40 years, our hope has always been for students to become the individuals God has purposed them to be. We hope, that as the Bible teaches us, young people may find great purpose in continuing to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. That through this growth they find true purpose and meaning in whatever pathway they pursue.

Whether it’s through further study, an apprenticeship, or work, we value watching young people grow into adults who positively contribute to our community.

As our school has grown over the 40 years, so too has our commitment to student care and success. I am grateful to work alongside so many secondary staff, who continue to give their best daily and do all they can to support student learning.
