Toolern Vale Campus

Toolern Vale Campus

In 2016, Melton Christian College purchased a large allotment of land on Coburns Road in Toolern Vale, just to the north of central Melton. This property is close to the intersection of Minns Road with Coburns Road, on the route to McPherson Park. The campus is 83 acres of open land, previously used for grazing stock.

Through 2019, the College undertook studies and research work into how the potential of this Toolern Vale property could be best realised. The news of a special state government grant complemented the vision, and now the exciting news is that this land is being developed into a second campus of Melton Christian College.

You can view the Toolern Vale Campus Master Plan by clicking here.

Development at Toolern Vale campus will take place in three stages:

Stage 1: Junior Primary classrooms, Administration building, outdoor play areas, playing fields
Stage 2: Additional classrooms, additional specialist resources, extensions to carparking, further development of outdoor areas including playing fields.
Stage 3: Increased capacity for upper Primary students.

The Toolern Vale campus is now open and accepting enrolments for Junior Primary in 2025.

Custodians of the Land

The recognition of a section of the property as having special Indigenous significance came as exciting news. This stirs a further sense of responsibility to acknowledge, learn about, research and discover the Indigenous heritage of the land we will be honoured to call home. We as a College are honoured to utilise this land for growing and nurturing the minds of young Australians, whose cultural backgrounds include more than eighty-five recognised cultures from around the world.
