Learning in Year One
Our deep hope for our Year One students is that their second year, the continuation of their schooling will be a continuation of their growth and understanding about God, themselves and others. We pray for our Year One students that they will learn to see themselves as God sees them; loved and precious.
We hope deeply that their development of life-skills such as numeracy and literacy will continue to develop, because it is through these communication skills that the Lord’s world becomes accessible. So we hope for, and work hard towards the inclusion of all our students in equipping them with these essential communication skills.
Self-perception as a learner remains crucial. The way these children see themselves in relation to learning is pivotal to their future success as learners.
