Immigration Museum Excursion
Australia is an immigration nation, though our society has not always endorsed nor accepted this concept.
Our Year 10 History students visited the Immigration Museum last 8 November to further explore our migration experience and how different waves and controversial government policies have shaped our country.
Australia is a multicultural nation, and as such, we have a culture of embracing the new. And though it is incredibly significant to acknowledge the past, we recognise that immigration has shaped who we are – it has built our nation.
