Our Commitment to Community
At MCC, our Core Value of Community is central to everything we do, shaping our decisions, actions, and the culture we cultivate with our students and their families. These values are deeply embedded in our identity as a college, serving as a foundation for guiding and building our uniquely warm and welcoming culture.
Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating two significant milestones as a community—the 100th day of school for our Prep students and the opening of our newest building. While these events were different in nature, they were united by a shared purpose: to honour and celebrate our sense of community.
The Prep students’ 100 days of school was marked with joy and excitement, featuring activities, bubbles, music, and balloons. It was a day filled with fun, celebrating an important milestone for our youngest learners and their dedicated staff.
The building opening, on the other hand, was a more formal yet casual event, acknowledging the many contributors who supported the development of our beautiful new facility and playground. This was not just a celebration of our growing physical space but also of the growth and expansion of our vibrant community.
Though these events varied in how they were celebrated, they were both rooted in our commitment to Community. Celebrations like these bring us together and reinforce the importance of being part of something larger than ourselves. It is truly wonderful to share these moments with all of you and to celebrate the beauty and strength of our school community.
