Student Leadership
I am thankful to God for a lot of things that I get to do because of my role here at MCC. One of the things that I get to do is talk into Student Leadership.
Last week the Student Senate and all the House Captains spent the day in Eynesbury on a leadership retreat. We had the privilege of listening to presenters organised by our guiding Christian bodies CEN/CSA talking about Christian Leadership and what it looks like. Students were able to share their vision of what they wanted their year to look like; and at the end of the day, we heard from some Year 12 students who were putting their hand up for the role of 2022 College Captain. It was a great day and a real honour for me to be there guiding this diligent group of students.
It is therefore my pleasure to announce the 2022 College Captains and Vice Captains, they are:
College Captains: Elizabeth C. and Mikayla D.
Vice College Captains: Rees T. and Monique B.
Well done to those students!
I also want to congratulate a few students for their efforts from last year in their VCE studies. These students rank among the top 10% in their respective VCE subjects. Well done to Angus C., Ebony B. and Jacob W. These students certainly represented our Core Value of Excellence.
