A Year of Connection and Growth
As we come to the end of the year, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the inaugural year of our Melton Christian College Online Campus. What a remarkable journey it has been. When we launched this community, we did so with one clear priority in mind: Community itself. We wanted every student and family to feel connected, known, and part of something meaningful, even while learning online. I am pleased to say that we not only pursued this goal – we achieved it without a doubt.
This sense of community did not happen by accident. It grew through intentional choices and carefully woven structures. Our class time was designed with collaboration and relationship at its core.
Our CLG sessions created consistent opportunities for students and teachers to share, pray, grow, and support one another. And our face-to-face events gave us the joy of meeting in person, strengthening the bonds formed online. Each of these threads helped knit together an environment where students could flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
One of the greatest blessings this year has been seeing students access a Christian education who may otherwise have missed out. To witness families find a place where faith, learning, and community intersect so naturally has been a privilege.
Looking ahead, we are encouraged by the growth to come. All signs indicate that we will begin next year with three times the number of students we started with – an exciting affirmation of the work that has been done and the heart behind it.
Thank you for your support and prayers throughout this first year. The Online Campus would not have been the success it is without the commitment of our families, staff, and wider community.
As we enter this Christmas season, may you be reminded of the hope and joy we have in Jesus Christ. May His peace rest on your homes, may His love strengthen your families, and may His light guide you into the new year ahead. Wishing you and your loved ones a very blessed and Merry Christmas, and a safe, joy-filled New Year.
