ANZAC Day Reflections

Newsletter | Secondary Update

Last week, our school community came together to honour the bravery and sacrifice of our ANZACs in a solemn and respectful service. I am proud to share my reflections on this important occasion.

The Student Senate deserves commendation for their outstanding organisation and execution of the assembly. Their dedication ensured that the service was both poignant and dignified, allowing us to pay homage to our heroes with utmost respect.

Equally impressive was the demeanour of our students as they entered the assembly quietly and maintained an attitude of reverence throughout. Their maturity and understanding of the significance of the occasion did not go unnoticed, earning praise from members of both state and federal government.

It is crucial that we remember and honour the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. The ANZAC spirit embodies values of courage, mateship, perseverance, and sacrifice. Let us never forget the lessons taught by the ANZACs. May we always uphold the principles of freedom, democracy, and unity for which they fought so valiantly.

Thank you to all who participated in and attended the ANZAC school service. Your presence and reverence contributed to making it a truly memorable and meaningful occasion.
