Aspire Retreat 2022
In an ongoing pursuit of excellence, our Year 12 students spent an informative and productive day on Tuesday February 1, exploring strategies to help succeed in VCE and VCAL. The day was spent at the Eynesbury Homestead and students heard from a range of guest speakers, teachers, and past students.
This retreat is vital in establishing a strong start to our student’s final year, as it helps equip them mentally, physically and spiritually. It also gives the cohort an opportunity to deepen their collegiality and teamwork, as these are vital elements of academic success.
In the morning, Elevate Education provided a thorough outline on seven key tips on how to do your best in the VCE exams. After lunch, students participated in smaller workshops relevant to their subject choices in 2022.
In the evening, they were all privileged to hear from past students Sobur Dhieu (College Captain 2018) and Tori Hirt (Winner of the VCE Leadership Award 2018), and the night concluded with an inspiring talk by former student Michael Monnik (cyber security expert).
Among the delicious food catered by the Homestead, the day was informative, fun and a great time of team building. We are excited to be working alongside all our students and supporting them to do their best and help find their God given purpose in life.
