Connection Across Campuses
One of the great joys of our Online Campus is seeing community move from screens into real, shared experiences—and our recent Secondary Athletics Carnival was a perfect example of this.
It was fantastic to welcome our online students as they joined their on-campus peers for a full day of competition, encouragement, and connection. From the first race to the final relay, our online students didn’t just attend—they fully participated. They ran, jumped, threw, cheered, and most importantly, they belonged.
For many, this was the first opportunity to meet classmates and teachers face-to-face. What stood out wasn’t just their enthusiasm on the track, but the way they were immediately embraced as part of the wider college community. There was a genuine sense of unity—students supporting one another, celebrating effort, and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship.
This is what our Online Campus is all about.
While learning may take place in a digital environment, our foundation is deeply relational and firmly grounded in Christian values. We are intentional about creating opportunities for students to connect, to encourage one another, and to grow not just academically, but personally and spiritually. Events like the Athletics Carnival remind us that community is not limited by location.
Throughout the day, we saw our values lived out in real and practical ways—kindness in encouragement, perseverance in competition, humility in both victory and defeat, and joy in shared experiences. These are the moments that shape character and reflect who we are as a Christ-centred learning community.
We are incredibly proud of our online students for the way they represented themselves and the college. Their participation is a testament to what can be achieved when we prioritise belonging and connection, even across distance.
