Core Values in Conversation
Last week, we had the pleasure of inviting you to join us for our parent-teacher conversations focused on your child’s learning progress during the first semester. We value these opportunities to share your child’s achievements and to collaborate on strategies for addressing any challenges they may be facing. These discussions reinforce our core values beautifully.
CHRIST-CENTREDNESS: We pray for your child and see them as created in the image of God. Our discussions encompass your child in their entirety, not just their academic performance, as their whole development is important to us and to God.
COMMUNITY: These conversations allow us to strengthen our relationship with you. This partnership is crucial, as it centres around something very important: your child.
EXCELLENCE: Our staff are dedicated to helping your child reach their fullest potential in every subject. Excellence is defined not by being the best in the class, but by your child’s commitment to putting in their best effort to achieve personal growth.
PASSION FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING: We identify and nurture the areas your child is passionate about, whether it be English, Performing Arts, or Japanese. Our discussions cover both their past learning and the areas to focus on in the upcoming semester.
RESPECT: These conversations reinforce mutual respect. We appreciate parents who listen to teachers as professionals and value our honest feedback about your child’s progress, even when it may not be what you were hoping to hear. This respect is vital for the benefit of your child’s education.
Every conversation matters. Every discussion matters. Learning matters. Your child matters.
