Finishing Strong
I always enjoy writing the final newsletter article of the year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate the many achievements and blessings that have shaped our school year. As I look back, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for all that we’ve accomplished together as a community.
This year we have continued to see moments of growth and joy both inside and outside the classrooms. Our students have embraced opportunities to deepen their knowledge of the various subjects they study, from engaging classroom activities to memorable sports days, excursions, and other exciting events. Their resilience, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning have been a blessing to see.
We’ve also seen our Christ-centred values come to life in so many ways. Through Chapel sessions, morning devotions, and daily acts of kindness, our students continue to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit and reflect the love of Jesus in their actions. From thoughtful gestures toward peers to caring for our shared spaces, they are continuing to learn how to love others as God calls us to do.
Our values of Respect, Excellence, and Community have shone brightly. Whether it’s showing respect by listening attentively, achieving excellence in uniform, behaviour and schoolwork, or blessing others through simple acts of service, these values guide us each day and contribute to the flourishing of our school.
As we approach the holidays, I encourage you to embrace the chance to rest and create cherished family memories. May your Christmas celebrations be filled with joy as you reflect on the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” – Numbers 6:24-26
We are excited about what lies ahead in 2025 and look forward to partnering with you as we continue this journey together.
Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this year. May God bless you and your families abundantly during this holiday break.
