Looking Ahead To 2025
It’s hard to believe we’re already up to the second-to-last primary newsletter for 2024!
As the year draws to a close, it’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all we’ve achieved in 2024 while looking ahead to the excitement that 2025 promises—new friends, new teachers, and new classrooms await our children. It’s an exciting season of growth and change!
Our dedicated teachers invest considerable time and care into preparing class placements for next year. With 26 unique children in each class, this is no small task. Each placement is thoughtfully and prayerfully considered, ensuring an environment where every child can thrive. Change can sometimes feel daunting for children, and that’s where we, as adults, play a crucial role. By staying calm and positive, we can help them embrace the unknown with confidence. Let’s show them that change, even when unexpected, can lead to wonderful opportunities.
We ask for your trust as we carefully plan for each child’s growth and flourishing in 2025. Remember, how we respond to change influences our children—they learn by watching us! Together, let’s encourage resilience, adaptability, and excitement for the new year ahead.
As Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Let’s lean on this promise as we prepare for 2025 and inspire our children to embrace the year ahead with confidence.
Here are some important dates to note:
• Wednesday 27 November – Prep to Year 2 Athletics Carnival
• Thursday 5 December – Prep to Year 2 Christmas Celebration Concert
• Friday 6 December – Primary Orientation sessions
• Tuesday 10 December – Year 6 Celebration Day
• Tuesday 10 December – Final student day (casual clothes)
There’s still so much to look forward to before we wrap up the year!
If your child will be finishing 2024 early or starting 2025 late, please inform the office and your child’s teacher so we can keep you updated during their absence.
