Moments of Togetherness, Appreciating the Special Women in Our Lives

Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate a very special group of people—those who support our staff, partner with us in their children’s education, and work diligently to send their children to Melton Christian College. These remarkable individuals are our mums and the other important women in the lives of our students. The atmosphere around the college was filled with a unique sense of community as we came together for this celebration.

Our children cherished the chance to be photographed with their mums, and our special women enjoyed a delightful breakfast box. The children were thrilled to welcome their special guests into their classrooms, where they participated in various activities, creating many happy, smiling faces. As a staff team, we felt incredibly blessed to be part of such a heartwarming event.

Days like this remind us of how much we have to be thankful for. We are grateful for everything you do, for being a vital part of our community, and for entrusting us with your children’s education. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to celebrate you.

As a Christian college, we thank God for blessing us with these moments of togetherness and for the wonderful community He has built here. Reflecting on these times brings to mind the following scriptures, which remind us of God’s presence and work in our lives:

Psalm 106:1 – “Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
Colossians 3:15 – “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
James 1:17 – “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

Our community is a precious gift. Let us continually thank God, with grateful hearts, for the school He has called us to be a part of.
