Primary Swimming Carnival

Newsletter | Sports

It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day which greeted us at Melton Waves for the MCC Primary Swimming Carnival.

The children participated in a variety of events, from the traditional 50 metre events in freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke, to some fun novelty events such as the cork scramble, noodle race, and the water running race.

The children participated and represented their house teams exceptionally well; but in the end, there was only one winner and what a deserving winner it was.

A huge congratulations to Daniel House who won their first ever Swim Carnival!  In a very close contest, Daniel finished on 330 points, just clear of Caleb on 321, Joshua 315, and Gideon 295!

A special congratulations to the following children who, after their performances, have been chosen to represent MCC at the MPSSA interschool swim carnival on February 22!

Lachlan M, Jake A, E.J. K, Anthony F, Zoe A, Charmaine T, Veronica M, Jade H, Trae W, Blair W, Harrison S, Levi G, Amy A, Lhilly H, Sargun S, Nyah R, Chloe P, Cooper W, Seth S, Hamish A, Liam G, Eva K, Taliyah A, Lara D, and Jazmine S.

Finally, a huge thank you to all the staff who helped and made the day such a success.
