Spotlight on Staff

I am an MCC alumni, and I am so blessed to be back as a staff member. I loved my time here as a student and it is a privilege to be a part of the team that fosters the same welcoming and loving environment for the current students and families.

I am studying to be a Primary teacher and I am working as an Integration Aide. I have three years of Aide experience at another Christian school. Building meaningful relationship with the students and helping them realise their potential are my favourite parts of the role. I am currently supporting the Grades 3 and 4. Flexibility is key as each class and every student requires different support. God has been sustaining my peace, patience, and joy. He has also provided me with a wonderful team supporting my transition. I truly feel that He has called me in this school.

From being an Aide, I also lead the children’s ministry at Melton Christian Church. I am very passionate about teaching children, not just academically but also about God. I look forward to getting to know the rest of the school and the community.

Lanier Cruz, Integration Aide

I graduated from Melton Christian College a few years ago and I loved the College so much I decided to come back! Before coming back, I studied media and communications, embraced full-time work, got married, travelled, and had a sweet baby girl.

I have a background in marketing and worked for a publishing company for a couple of years before I was blessed with a job here. My role at MCC is quite different and now I am part of the administration team in the front office. I help get things ready for upcoming excursions and assist in reception.

I really value Christian Education because it encouraged me in my own walk with God. I am thankful for the staff here who guided me to Jesus because I now have so much joy and peace that comes from Him. I love Jesus and I love even more that I get to come to a workplace that glorifies God. It’s a great privilege.
