Teaching and Learning for 2024

I am delighted to share with you some exciting updates regarding the planning and focus on the teaching and learning requirements in our Secondary school for the upcoming year, 2024.

This week, I had the privilege of being part of a dedicated planning group comprised of passionate Secondary leaders. Their main objective was to ensure that our teachers are assigned to the appropriate year levels and subjects. The discussions within the group were spirited, and the room echoed with enthusiastic dialogues. The commitment of these Secondary leaders was evident in their tireless efforts to ensure the best fit for all.

Throughout the planning sessions, our students remained at the forefront of every decision. The student focus was unequivocally central to all discussions and considerations. Despite differing opinions, the leaders approached each challenge with open minds, engaging in debates and finding solutions that ultimately resulted in the best possible structure and path forward.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Secondary Year Level Coordinator team and the Secondary Teaching and Learning team. Their ongoing hard work, collaborative spirit, thoughtfulness, and meticulous attention to detail instill within me a great sense of confidence. Together, we can eagerly anticipate a fantastic year ahead in 2024.
