The Path Ahead for Year Six

Newsletter | Primary Update

All our Primary staff are deeply committed to nurturing each child’s growth – academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. Every lesson, every interaction, and every moment of connection is grounded in Christian values, forming a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith.

As our Year Six teaching team well know, every child is an individual. As we look towards secondary for our beautiful Year Six children at MCC, we know that there are two options: mainstream onsite at Brookfield … or … for some families, our Online Secondary Campus offers a flexible, values-driven option that continues the journey we begin in Primary. It’s a space where students can thrive in a Christ-centred community, with learning that is intentional and adaptable to individual circumstances.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

This verse reflects our heart for education: to partner with families in shaping children’s character and faith from the earliest years. In Primary, we focus on building strong foundations—academic skills, emotional resilience, and spiritual understanding—that prepare students for whatever path lies ahead.

For you, our Primary parents, the Online campus may be something that you consider when your child completes Year 6. Whilst your child is not onsite, it still allows parents to remain closely connected to their child’s education, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

Whether your child continues their secondary education on campus or online, our commitment remains the same: to provide an excellent Christ-centred education in a caring and nurturing environment, equipping students to reach their full potential in Christ.
