Shape Your Future in Christian Education
The MCC Teacher Traineeship Programme is built on three foundational pillars: Self, Practice, and Community. It offers pre-service teachers a unique opportunity to grow in confidence, character, and classroom readiness within a Christ-centred learning environment.
Throughout your journey, you will engage in meaningful self-development, demonstrating initiative and growing in biblical murity as you pursue a purposeful calling in Christian education.
Through immersive hands-on practice, you get the opportunity to develop strong classroom skills such as lesson planning, behaviour management, and inclusive education, while learning to weave Biblical threads through your teaching.
All of this unfolds within a rich community—you’ll be mentored, encouraged, and embraced as a valued member of the MCC team, constantly engaging with experienced educators and leaders who will support your growth every step of the way.
‘This is more than a placement—it’s a purposeful pathway into Christian education, shaped by nurture, professionalism, and belonging.’

How to Apply
Step One – Submit your resume, cover letter and supporting documents via our online portal.

Step Three – Shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview (phone, Zoom or in person).
Step Four – We complete all required police and referee checks.
Step Five – Successful applicants receive a formal offer to join the Trainee Teacher program.
Step Six – Once accepted, we begin onboarding and prepare for your start at MCC.
