Welcome Back to Term 2

Welcome back to Term 2.

I hope you have all had time and opportunity to create some wonderful family memories. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back and getting into teaching and learning again.

Term 2 will see a change from summer to winter uniform. This means:

• Weeks 1 and 2 can be either full summer or full winter uniform (not a mixture of the two)
• Week 3 onwards is full winter uniform only
• Review the College Uniform Policy –
  • This can be found in our College Handbook
  • Pages 28 and 29 outlines the description of our uniform requirements
  • Pages 30 and 31 describe our personal presentation expectations
  • Page 32 outlines the consequences of not complying to our uniform standards
  • Staff will be following these consequences for any children who do not comply to our uniform standards. Ensuring your child is in the correct uniform will avoid this happening
  • Shoes must be black, polished, solid and securely fitted to the foot
  • If at any time you are unsure of whether an item is compliant, or you just want some guidance, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s homeroom teacher

It is also good for you to be aware of the following dates for this term:

• Week 1 – World of Maths incursions
• Friday May 12 – Year 1 excursion
• Monday May 15 to Wednesday May 17 – Year 6 camp
• Monday May 29 – School Photo Day
• Monday June 12 – King’s Birthday Public Holiday
• Tuesday June 13 – Report Writing Day – student free day
• Friday June 23 – Last day of term two
