Welcome to 2026
Welcome back to a new year. I hope that you and your families enjoyed a wonderful break. Whether your holidays were restful and relaxing, filled with adventure, or spent making special memories together, I trust the time together has refreshed your children and prepared them for a successful start to the new school year.
As we welcome students back, our Primary team is excited and energised for the year ahead. Classrooms are ready, staff are prepared, and we are looking forward to seeing our students return with enthusiasm and readiness to learn. A new year brings fresh opportunities for growth and relationship-building, and we feel privileged to walk alongside your children as they take these next steps.
I encourage all families to take some time to familiarise yourselves with the MCC Parent Handbook. It is an important resource that outlines our expectations and provides you with all of the information you will need. As always, your support in working positively with your child’s teacher plays a vital role in creating a successful year of learning.
This year, we continue to place strong emphasis on our five Core Values: Respect, Passion for Teaching and Learning, Community, Christ-centredness, and Excellence. These values shape our culture, guide our decisions, and help ensure our school remains a place where every child is known, valued, and supported. We remain deeply committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where all students can learn confidently, grow holistically, and develop into who God has created them to be.
We are grateful for the partnership we share with our families and look forward to working closely with you again this year. Together, we can create a positive and thriving school experience for every child.
Thank you for your trust, your support, and your partnership. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead.
