Welcoming Our Newest Students

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a welcome evening for our 2025 Prep families—a wonderful first step as we embrace these young students and their families into our community. The evening was filled with anticipation and excitement, as parents received important information about what Prep will look like for their child, what they can do to help them prepare, and the many exciting experiences to look forward to. We hope this helps each family feel supported and ready for the journey ahead.

At Melton Christian College, we hold firm to our Core Values: Excellence, Respect, Community, Christ-centredness, and a Passion for Teaching and Learning. These values are more than words to us; they shape who we are, how we teach, and the community we build together. Our goal is for each family, new and returning, to feel embraced by this culture and to see these values lived out daily.

Welcoming new students isn’t just about a single event—it’s the start of a journey that spans 13 years of partnership, growth, and shared experiences. We are committed to working alongside families, nurturing each child’s potential and supporting their growth academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Together, we will do this, just as we do with our current students.

As we reflect on this privilege, we’re reminded of Proverbs 22:6: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.” What an incredible opportunity we have to walk this path with each student and family from the very beginning.

We’re looking forward to an amazing journey with our 2025 Prep families, and we’re grateful to have them join the Melton Christian College community.
