Werribee Zoo Excursion

Newsletter | Secondary Update

Last Tuesday, 8 November, Year 7 went on an excursion to Werribee Zoo to explore concepts being taught in Science.

“I am an animal lover and it was great to see all the animals at Werribee Zoo. We learnt about the three types of animals: omnivores, herbivores and carnivores. A lot of the animals at Werribee Zoo are native to Africa. My favourite animals were the African Wild Dogs – because they reminded me of German Shepherds.” Isaac C

“It was an amazing day.” Winter D

“Eyes on the front, I was born to hunt. Eyes on the side, I was born to hide.” We learnt this saying in the education session when discussing herbivores and carnivores.” Aekam B
