Year 9 Business Studies

In Term Four Year 9 Business Studies, students have been learning about Social Enterprises and not-for-profit organisations.

Therefore, it was very timely that Denise, the CEO of CCCM, came to speak of the services provided by CCCM to the local community.

Often people ask the team at CCCM (Combined Churches Caring, Melton) “Why do we do what we do?”

The overwhelming answer is “It is because we have been so amazingly loved by God, that we can’t help but share this love with you. In grateful response to God who showed deep love for us and brought us peace, joy and hope, we want to show this love to you and direct you to him as the only source of hope too. We love others because God first loved us.”

Denise was thankful that students from Melton Christian College are very generous with their contributions to CCCM, which have been used to help the local community in need. Students were also invited to do some voluntary work during the school holidays or even work experience for next year in Year 10.
